A terrible thing happened in one of the neighborhoods of Narmak at around 3 pm when there was a heavy silence in the neighborhood. The old janitor was sitting in his chair as usual, doing his duty of guarding the building, and he had turned on his old radio and was listening, and he was stirring a little rain. Our old janitor’s name is Reza. Reza was a responsible man.
Suddenly, there was a loud explosion and Reza jumped up. The windows of the janitor’s office were shattered and the sound of car sirens rang out. People were screaming loudly and asking for help. The neighbors were screaming and saying, “Fire, fire.”
Natural gas: from extraction to final consumption
The building where Reza was the janitor was old and had three floors. This building had been in need of repair and renovation for years, but it seemed that no one cared and these repairs were being postponed. Black smoke had engulfed the building and Reza was in shock. After recovering from the shock, he first called the fire department and then the emergency services. Now he decided to enter the building himself through the front door to help the residents of the building. At the same time, he remembered the words of Haj Mahmoud, one of the residents of the second floor, who kept saying in meetings that the gas pipes of this building were rotten and would one day blow us all up. And the other neighbors who had laughed at Haj Mahmoud’s words and said that the building had been in this condition for 20 years and nothing had happened. All these words passed through his mind in a split second.
Why is city gas not used in lighters
The roof of the second floor had collapsed and there was smoke everywhere. He could hear sighs and groans, as if people were trapped under the rubble. Reza wanted to go for help, but the fire was too big and he was scared. He decided to go into the fire. He immediately made up his mind, wrapped a cloth around his mouth, and entered. He kicked open the door of the building and entered. Amir Ali was an 8-year-old boy. Amir Ali’s parents were both employees, and in the morning they would send Amir Ali to school and then go to work. Amir Ali would come home alone, and two hours later his mother would come. The little boy was crying. His mother was lying on the floor in the kitchen and his father was stuck in the room under a pile of rubble.
Reza took the mother and son out of there, but the father could not easily get out of the rubble, and Amir Ali was crying. At the same time, a second explosion came from the floor above, and Reza quickly went to help. But this time, he could not enter the third floor due to the volume of the fire.
Reza asked if Amir Ali’s father was okay. The nurse replied, “Unfortunately, the rescue forces were unable to pull him out of the rubble in time, and his burns were severe, and he died.” Two of his neighbors on the third floor also lost their lives.
Meanwhile, Reza remembered what Haj Mahmoud had said that it would be better to repair the rotten gas pipes.
